The Make Up Bag Inspector

This week we rummage the bag of make-up artist Louise Dartford. As one might expect, it is overflowing with gorgeous cosmetics straight from the catwalks.

I love Oskia Get Up & Glow as a pre make-up base, it brightens skin as it nourishes (also great for applying over make-up later in the day as a pick-me-up).

I have been using Jane Iredale’s Liquid Minerals for my base along with her Circle\Delete and Active Light under-eye concealers to revive my tired eyes!

rms “Un” Cover Up also has an active place in my make-up bag. I use it to conceal redness and it is great for days when I don’t want base all over.

I am not blessed in the eyebrow department so I have to draw them in every day. Une’s eyebrow pencil is doing a good job with Lavera’s Eyebrow Style & Care Gel keeping them nicely in place.

Une’s Absolute Blacks Kohl pencil has been a great addition to my make-up bag.  I draw it along my top lashes with a slick of Jane Iredale’s black liquid liner over the top to intensify the look.

I use rms cream eyeshadow in Magnetic to create a smokey evening look. It gives a great sheen and is so easy to use.

I love Jane Iredale’s PureLash Extender and Conditioner. It really does make a difference to how your mascara goes on.

My current mascara is Lavera’s Double Black Mascara – try using the lengthening brush first then the volumising brush for an impressive lash.

Another staple is rms Living Luminizer. I use this on my cheekbones and browbones for a healthy glow and instant radiance.

Day to day I usually keep my lips very natural with one of my many lip balms -  I like to try them all.  At the moment Hurraw! and Burt’s Bees are favourites.

I love the bright lips which seem to be a permanent fixture on the runways at the moment. I use Elysambre’s Garnet Red a lot at work, so I’ve put one into my make-up bag to encourage myself to wear it!
